She's a Redhead... :)

A fairly powerfull sorceress, I tend to give her all the fire spell first (except maybe the one that she can hurt the party with - the one that you walk around with flames)

heh... her attiude would ease with time... she been kinda opressed by the other mages of the Mage-guild

I can identiy with a little... I was quite in JHS - and was picked on a bit... found I was was pretty good at football and took it out on the field.... I loved to punish our own quarterback during practice...

Her Teachers did not know how to handle her case correctly... exspect family politics.... ;)

Nice to meet you,i certainly agree with your reasons.
All true, redheads are most often reckless hot-heads. Yes, Qara was opressed by evil wizards from that academy. Unfortunetly, poor girl perish at end even when she stays with Player, which means she cannot ease with time. I feel compassion towards her too.

I like Qara very much, my reasons are:
1)She is awesome and hilarious.(Sunken Flagon argue scene is the best cutscene in entire NWN2)
2)I can understand how Qara feels and why she is so sad and bitter. I pity her as she was cruelly harassed by Chaotic Evil bulies and nobady cared for her. I sympathise with her as so many evil villains(Sydney Natale, Johcris,Glina,Hetha, Praven, Ashni) tried to murder her.
3)I know that Qara is compassionate and care much for the Player if she\he was kind to her. Qara proved that in ecounter with shadow priest and when she offered to fight evil Lorne for Player.(Sand don't fight for Player)
4)Qara is very useful. She is Sorcerer, magical powerhouse much better than any wizard. I use Puppet Mode so i can deciede what spell Qara cast and when to avoid friendly fire at Hardcore mode. I use Qara to buff up entire party so i use her in almost every area.
5)I pity Qara as she is only 16 year old kid and she doesn't deserved to perish under falling boulder after defeat of King of Shadows.
6)I played many times and always killed Sand when he betrayed me to Black Garius. I play mostly as Chaotic Good and Lawful Good, so i want Sand defeated for serving Lawful Evil undead-Lich wizard\archmage Arklem Greeth, leader of the Arcane Brotherhood, terrorist organisation of Luskan.

Besides, i can tolerate Qara behaviour as my DM's said:
-Qara refuse to listen to an lawful sentences and thats okay as Chaotic Neutral character should:
,,Ignore any attempts by other characters to make you conform to their viewpoints or beliefs, and actively work against attempts to place restrictions on your behavior.''
-Qara don't want to work for city of Newerwinter unless Player is kind to her and thats okay as Chaotic Neutral should:
,,Support organizations or strong convictions only if it personally benefits you or someone you care for. While your character may not care whether a group of rangers repel the bugbear invasion of a nearby town, he might be persuaded to take a side if he can be convinced that the bugbears would personally make his life worse.''
-Qara is reckless, impulsive hot-head and thats okay as Chaotic Neutral should:
''Act on any impulse that strikes your fancy, whether it be good, evil, or indifferent.''
-Qara is self-centered and thats okay as Chaotic Neutral should:
,,Protect others or agree to help people who can't protect themselves if there is a compelling reason to do so, such as treasure, shelter, or adoration. If the reward isn't worth the risk, then don't bother.''
- Qara epitomises the anti-authoritarian streak of Chaotic Neutral. Qara did what any other Chaotic Neutral spellcaster would do on her place.

Can you tell me, what do you think?
Anyway, good luck to you.

Thanks.... :)

personaly I use either Qara or Sand.... can deal with both... for me it depends on what the player-characters attitude and behaviour is.... :)

Sand hasn't yet betrayed me in the end... often enough I only use him as neccessary for the trial... :) a few of my party's don't have a mage at all.... kinda fighter/type heavy... with some spell casting ablity.... ;)
